MISSA ILLUMINA

Missa Illumina

is a 25-minute, five movement work completed in the fall of 2016. The text for this piece includes selections from the Mass and the fourth a cappella movement, entitled Quoniam tu Illuminas, is based on the text of Psalm 18:28-29a which translates "For You are my lamp; The Lord my God illumines my darkness. For by You I shall be delivered from temptation."
