Golden pages of my mind
Are faded memories
Of who I used to be
Their colors still remain although it’s been a long while
 
Subtle images remind me of a
Reverie
Of all I longed to be
And what I thought I knew
When I was just a child who
Held my arms open wide
For a dream
That someday could be
And would become true
 
Looking forward now I find
All of these memories
Feel so far away from the place they were back then
Can they be found again?
